The TI 780 Series Electronic Data Terminal Family was the Laptops before there were PC laptops. The Silent 780 Series ran at a blazing speed of 1200 bits per seconds. This was four times the speed of the previous The Silent 700 Series running at 300 bps. |

My role was the designing and coding the communication section. This included Full and Half duplex communications along with interpreting the
control characters. The system executed assemble language on an Intel 8080 processor. |
